The Chemical Engineering program will host undergraduate students this upcoming summer in association with a newly awarded Research Experience for Undergraduates.

The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of South Carolina, in collaboration with Savannah River National Laboratory, is pleased to announce a Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates for 2026! Participants will perform research involving designing and synthesizing nanostructured materials for energy conversion and storage processes.

Students will work side-by-side with faculty and graduate students in a dynamic and cutting-edge research environment.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Chemical Engineering or related program and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
