Be innovative and inspire change. BOLD interns join teams across Sales, Marketing, People Operations, and Finance to identify challenges, collaborate on building solutions, and drive meaningful change for clients and users — all while developing skills and building careers.

The Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development (BOLD) Internship Program is a paid summer internship for undergraduate college students that are interested in working in non-technical career opportunities at Google. Only students who are in their penultimate (second to last) year of a full-time Bachelor’s degree program and plan to return to school for at least one academic term before completing their degree are eligible to apply.

We’ve designed the BOLD Internship program to expose historically underrepresented students in technology to career opportunities in the industry. As such, students who identify with a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry, including but not limited to Black, Hispanic, Native American, students with disabilities, and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Students completing their 2nd year of college or university will be eligible to apply for the BOLD Immersion Program. Current seniors planning to graduate at the end of this academic year should visit our website for full-time entry-level opportunities.

The BOLD internship application for Summer 2025 will open in September of 2024, and will remain open for approximately one month. Once the application is open, you will see a link at the top of this page that will direct you to apply. A team of recruiters will review applications on a rolling basis over the fall, winter, and early spring.
