The Money Map

Save money on college just by opening your email

Introducing the Imagine Money Map

Hi Friends,

Have you ever opened your banking app and wondered…

“Where did all my money go?”

You’re not alone.

Most people think they need a bigger paycheck.

More often, they simply need a better map.

For the past few months, I’ve been thinking about one question:

Why is saving money so hard?

I don’t believe it’s because people are lazy or bad with money.

I think it’s because no one ever taught us how to see where our money is actually going.

So over the next few weeks, I want to introduce you to something I’ve been developing…

The Imagine Money Map

The Imagine Money Map isn’t a budget.

It isn’t another complicated spreadsheet.

And it isn’t about making you feel guilty every time you buy a cup of coffee.

Instead…

It’s a simple way to understand where every dollar is taking you—so you can decide if it’s leading you where you really want to go.

Because here’s something I’ve learned:

Every dollar has a destination.
If you don’t choose it, your habits will.

This Week’s Challenge

We’re not starting the Money Map just yet.

First, I want you to prepare.

Here are three simple things you can do this week.

1️⃣ Find Your Tracking Tool

Choose something you’ll actually use.

It could be:

• The Notes app on your phone

• A small notebook

• A spreadsheet

• A budgeting app

Don’t overthink it.

The best tracking system is the one you’ll stick with.

2️⃣ Start Paying Attention

This week, don’t change anything.

Don’t judge your spending.

Just begin noticing it.

Awareness is always the first step toward change.

3️⃣ Think About Your Destination

If your money had a purpose…

What would it be?

Graduating debt-free?

Studying abroad?

Buying your first car?

Building an emergency fund?

Helping your family?

Write it down.

Your destination matters because every map needs one.

Next Monday…

I’ll show you the four destinations every dollar travels and how The Imagine Money Map can help you save more, spend with confidence, and build the future you imagine.

I have a feeling this may become one of the most valuable financial habits you’ll ever learn.

Until then…

Pay attention.

Notice your spending.

Dream a little about your future.

We’ll build your map together next week.

Have a wonderful week!

Warmly,

Sherri Ross
